Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian is the second film in the Night at the Museum series. Although it's not much different from the first movie, I have to say it's not quite as good. Ben Stiller was very good but I don't think anyone else really stood out. One thing I was disappointed with was the lack of screen time for Steve Coogan and Owen Wilson, or Octavius and Jedediah. In the first movie, they stole the show. But in this film, they are underutilized like most of the other actors. Night at the Museum 2 has its funny parts, but it seems to lack the charm and fun of the first film. It's a worthwhile sequel that meets the standards of the first film, but doesn't exceed them.
