I can't call this a bad movie, because I don't like anything with "Animaniacs" in the title. Somehow, the novelty of seeing all the characters in one place is fun enough for me. Unfortunately, the magic wears off very quickly.
Giant plot holes! I know they're obsessed, and I shouldn't ask for logic, but usually things make a little sense. This movie tries to be a Disney movie, but it doesn't quite work. I compare this story to fan fiction. The characters are out of character, even for themselves, and for a movie called "Wakko's Wish," Wakko doesn't get a lot of screen time. This really drives me crazy, because this is my favorite character!I can't say the movie is terrible. It's well animated, the voice acting is very good, and even the plot, while trite, is quite enjoyable. I just fall in love with it every time I see it. It's so bad that it's good. As a fan of Animaniacs, I like to break down everything that's wrong with it. For non-animated scenes, I'll skip this movie. If you don't know the characters, it won't make any sense, and you'll turn it off before it hits the ten-minute mark. For young children, they will love it. I know I'm used to it. (I bought five copies of the original VHS version when it first came out. The VCR ate one, I lost one, and I have two in my video collection, and one is still unopened.) It's a very nice movie for kids, and keeps them quiet for an hour. Then again, I think kids love anything that's animated, so that's not a huge accomplishment.
