The Quantum Devil - Official Trailer

There have been many attempts to expand what Lovecraft wrote - and these attempts have usually been insufficient. That is not the case this time. It's certainly not a shining gem of a film by any means, perhaps due to the lack of budget. However, long sections of the film are written by Neil Dixon and his monologues are wonderfully written. There are many references to other films, and although it was filmed in Belgrade – something that usually shows actors without a lot of talent, that is not the case this time.Some scenes (such as the shower scene) go on for too long and are awkwardly edited, while others are edited perfectly. The scenery, music, and computer graphics (CGI) are good - and some of the makeup is very good. I would have liked more backstories for the characters portrayed, with hints of what happened before the film - rather than just telling it, but I get it - that budget again. Ultimately, given the well-written acting and story, no Lovecraft fan should miss this.
