After Satya (J.D. Chakravarthy), an earnest young man who came to Mumbai, India, in search of work, is thrown in jail for a crime he didn't commit, he must delve into the depths of Mumbai's criminal underworld to survive. Fresh out of prison, he meets a beautiful singer named Vidya (Urmila Matondkar), who is repelled by the gangs that afflict her neighborhood.
