The villain Silas falls for the cop Noah, dismantles his own syndicate to protect him, and dies by Noah’s gun. After death, he is reborn as police officer Evan Cole, with all his memories. He joins Noah’s unit, protects him repeatedly, and slowly wins Noah’s heart, despite Noah’s childhood friend Ethan.
The new drug network is run by Damian, Silas’s former partner. Evan goes undercover, is exposed, tortured, and finally rescued by Noah. They become a couple, Damian’s network is destroyed, and Evan returns to Noah’s home—the abandoned child from his past finally finding a place to belong.
