The machines are ready.
Welcome to **STEEL REQUIEM** — a brand-new AI mecha anime series set within **The Kalthrax Chronicles**.
The city is under attack.
Dragon Machines fill the skies.
Humanity's enormous capital ship watches over the battlefield.
And standing between the city and complete destruction are some very familiar faces.
**Nelissa** is an elite commander and one of the most dangerous pilots on the battlefield.
Cold. Precise. Aggressive.
Inside her black-and-purple feline mecha, she doesn't simply fight enemy machines.
She hunts them.
**Aureus** approaches giant-robot warfare a little differently.
Subtlety isn't really his thing.
If Nelissa sees an enemy formation and starts calculating weak points, Aureus is considerably more likely to ask himself one very important question:
“How much power can this thing actually handle?”
Then there's **Lea**.
A skilled pilot in her own right, Aureus's sister, Nelissa's closest friend, and occasionally the person responsible for keeping everyone else alive when their ideas become increasingly questionable.
**Summoner** commands from above.
And **Star**?
She's mostly concerned with considerably more important things.
Like finding her hairbrush.
For the people living in this world, the war against the Dragon Machines has become a part of life.
They have pilots.
They have weapons.
They have a capital ship.
They know their enemy.
Or at least...
They thought they did.
Because something impossible has appeared over the battlefield.
A fracture.
Something is wrong with reality.
And whatever is on the other side was never supposed to be here.
**STEEL REQUIEM** takes Aureus, Nelissa, Lea, Summoner, and Star into a completely different corner of **The Kalthrax Chronicles** — a late-1990s-inspired Japanese mecha anime filled with giant machines, massive aerial battles, mechanical dragons, ridiculous firepower, character comedy, family, mystery,
