I hope someone decides to adapt this into an anime 😭 • • The viral trend you are seeing is called "Malfoid" (or Fem Draco), a massive internet phenomenon that involves gender-swapping the Harry Potter character Draco Malfoy into a blonde anime girl. The trend exploded across platforms like X (formerly Twitter), TikTok, and Instagram, turning the classic Wizarding World rival into a major internet obsession. What is the "Malfoid" Trend? The trend centers around fan art and memes reimagining Draco Malfoy as a girl. Rather than completely changing the character, creators have kept Draco's signature traits—the platinum-blonde hair, pale features, Slytherin green aesthetic, and a wealthy, smug attitude—and translated them into a popular anime archetype. She is usually depicted as a dramatic, competitive, and easily embarrassed tsundere or bratty character who loves to mock Harry Potter. How Did It Start? •The Origin: While the concept of a female Draco Malfoy has existed in fanfiction for years, the specific viral design was initiated by an X user named @grizz056 in March 2024. •The Breakthrough: The trend truly went viral on September 22, 2026, when artist @redteneri posted an illustration of the character mocking Harry. The post blew up, gaining nearly 90,000 likes and triggering a wave of copycat art across the global anime and gaming communities. Hashtags: #anime #HarryPotter #dracomalfoy #pottah #draconian
