The Punishment: Upon dying, he encounters Death (Park So-dam) at the gates of hell. As punishment for disregarding the value of life, she forces him to undergo 12 cycles of reincarnation. The Rule: In each cycle, Yi-jae inhabits the body of a different person who is on the verge of imminent death. If he manages to survive in those bodies, he is permitted to continue living with that identity.
