Your brain can make you fear someone who has done absolutely nothing wrong.
And the scariest part is that you’ll never know why.
Marcus, a 29-year-old man who believed he had infallible intuition, discovered that his brain had been using past experiences to predict threats where none existed.
The moment Marcus met Elena and felt that "something was wrong" for no apparent reason.
The discovery that Elena wasn't dangerous—just extremely shy.
The scientific explanation of how the brain predicts reality before we are even consciously aware of it.
The thought experiment involving a partner who takes three hours to reply to a message.
The question Marcus learned to ask himself to distinguish between a fact and an assumption.
In the end, you’ll understand: sometimes fear isn't a sign of danger, but a memory disguised as intuition.
