Took me hours to complete this artwork of Lord Shiva & Mata Parvati. ✍️🌸 What do you think?
#ShivParvati #ArtistOnTikTok #SketchLord Shiva: Often depicted seated in deep meditation atop Mount Kailash, Shiva embodies cosmic stillness and transformation. He is characterized by ash-smeared skin (Vibhuti), a crescent moon on his matted hair (Jata), the holy river Ganga flowing from his locks, a serpent around his neck, and a blue throat (Neelkanth). He holds a trident (Trishula) and a drum (Damru), symbolizing mastery over time, creation, and destruction.
Goddess Parvati: The daughter of the Himalayas (Himavan), Parvati embodies love, devotion, fertility, and divine power. Depicted alongside Shiva in radiant attire with intricate jewelry, she brings warmth, life, and domestic harmony to Shiva's austere, ascetic world.
Divine Union: Together, as the parents of Lord Ganesha and Lord Kartikeya, they signify family, spiritual balance, and cosmic harmony. In their merged form, Ardhanarishvara, they illustrate that the universe operates through the inseparable balance of masculine and feminine principles.
