Synopsis & Plot Overview
The story follows Crown Prince Kane of the Dune Empire (or Ember Sand Empire). Tired of serving as a brutal war machine, he decides to hide his true royal identity and live a simple, peaceful life as a blacksmith in a small town with his wife, Elara, and their young daughter, Bella.
However, despising him for what she thinks is a lowly, ordinary existence, Elara betrays Kane for an old flame and leaves with their daughter. Driven by the need to rescue and reunite with Bella, Kane drops his facade and leaves a trail of raw magical power straight back to Elara's homeland. By the time his ex-wife finally uncovers the truth—that her supposedly plain husband is actually the world's most noble prince and its supreme, most powerful mage—it is far too late to fix her mistake.
