Come along on a walk through Central Zoo in Jawalakhel, Lalitpur — Nepal's oldest zoo, home to over 127 species since 1932.
From Bengal tigers and one-horned rhinos to red pandas, Himalayan monals, gharials, and every color of bird you can imagine, this is a look at the animals, the grounds, and the people who visit them.
Acknowledgments: Special thanks to the National Trust for Nature Conservation (NTNC), the Gaurishankar Conservation Area Project (GCAP), and Central Zoo for the opportunity to visit and film.
Thanks also to Prawesh Poudel, Manoj Neupane, and Aadesh Subedi — for driving me to Central Zoo and for being part of this video.
