The Moment the Heavens Opened Again | Sahih al-Bukhari Hadith 4
Have you ever wondered what happened after the first revelation in the Cave of Hira? After a period of silence that left the Prophet ﷺ longing for divine guidance, the skies opened once more.
In this video, we explore the powerful narration of Jabir bin 'Abdullah Al-Ansari found in Sahih al-Bukhari, Chapter 3. We recount the awe-inspiring moment the Prophet ﷺ saw the Angel Jibreel (Gabriel) seated between the heavens and the earth, and the revelation of the soul-stirring verses of Surah Al-Muddaththir.
In this video, you will learn:
The context of the "Pause in Revelation" (Fatrat al-Wahy).
The physical description of the second encounter with Jibreel (AS).
The meaning behind the command: "O you wrapped in garments, arise and warn!"
Join us as we journey through the early days of Islam and the beginning of the Prophetic mission.
