Notes from the author of the work: Note 01: It’s amusing to watch the demon beat up the puppet and then have it swallowed by a grinning crocodile. (In fact, the suicidal puppet is me.) Note 02: I had the vague impression that I was beginning to see some of the bright side of life. (But that wasn’t the case—how naive I was.) An introspective song I wrote in 2020 that explores an artist's loneliness and depression during a creative phase at a difficult point in his life. Enjoy the ramblings of a night owl.
