Condemned to death for his crimes, a thief is taken to be crucified alongside Jesus of Nazareth. As he faces his final moments, he witnesses Christ’s suffering, innocence, and love. At the foot of the cross, however, his view of Jesus completely changes. In the midst of pain and death, he recognizes who is beside him and finds hope when it seems there is none left.
