《AFTER PRICE》是一部发生在近未来伦敦南华克的科幻剧情作品。
2026年，21岁的 Kieran 因开车时分心查看手机，引发车祸，导致女友 Maya 死亡，自己也陷入长期昏迷。
17年后，他在 2043年醒来，却发现世界已经彻底改变：
住房不再收租，
交通不再收费，
食物、医疗、教育等基本需求得到直接保障，
AI参与社会决策，但决策过程必须公开，可以被质疑、审查，也可以被人类推翻。
对于 Kieran 来说，这一切好得不像真的。
他坚信：这样的社会背后一定隐藏着监控、控制，或者某种人们看不见的代价。
于是，他开始寻找这个“完美未来”真正的价格。
但随着调查深入，他发现这个社会确实存在漏洞，也确实会犯错——然而真正困住他的，并不是未来社会，而是他一直无法面对的过去。
如果社会不再用痛苦偿还痛苦，一个犯下无法挽回错误的人，又该如何继续活下去？
《AFTER PRICE》讨论 AI、自动化、后货币社会、隐私、司法与责任，也试图提出一个更大的问题：

AFTER PRICE is a near-future science-fiction drama set in Southwark, London. After causing a distracted-driving crash that kills his girlfriend, Kieran Mensah wakes seventeen years later in 2043.
The world he knew is gone. Housing carries no rent. Transport has no fare. Essential goods are guaranteed. AI systems help coordinate society, but their decisions can be challenged, audited and overturned by humans.
To Kieran, it sounds impossible.
Convinced that such abundance must hide surveillance, coercion or punishment somewhere beneath the surface, he begins looking for the system’s real price. What he finds is a society with genuine flaws — but also a much harder truth about guilt, responsibility and why suffering cannot undo suffering.
AFTER PRICE explores AI, automation, post-scarcity economics, privacy, justice and the question of what gives human life meaning when earning a living is no longer the centre of it.
