The Jackson 5ive was a
popular Saturday morning animated series that aired on ABC from 1971 to 1972, produced by Rankin/Bass and Motown, featuring the musical group The Jackson 5 in fictionalized, groovy adventures with their songs. It was notable for being one of the first Saturday morning cartoons with a predominantly Black cast and was revived in syndication during Michael Jackson's solo career in the acting from African American actors and even a guest appearance by Diana Ross.
