As the Magic Knights near the heart of Cephiro, they encounter Lafarga, the former captain of Princess Emeraude’s royal guard. Once a noble and loyal warrior, Lafarga now stands under Zagato’s control due to a powerful enchantment.
Determined to stop the girls from advancing, Lafarga challenges them in battle. Despite recognizing his inner conflict, the Magic Knights are forced to fight seriously. His strength and skill prove overwhelming, pushing them to rely fully on their Escudo-forged weapons and combined magic.
During the clash, Clef intervenes and helps break Zagato’s spell, freeing Lafarga from manipulation. Once restored to his senses, Lafarga is devastated by his actions but renews his vow to protect Princess Emeraude and assist the Magic Knights in their quest.
