Khufu, the Egyptian Pharoah who had THE most reknowned mausoleum ever, built... The Great Pyramid of Giza... will stop at nothing to get it built, nor save his treasure for the "next life", in it on his passing - which is all too clear when he takes another unscrupilous "Queen" in the form of superbitch, Joan Collins as Nellifer, and her lover, to ensure his demise. Whilst a god film, it mainly suffered from having relatively B-movie actors, stifling its success at the box office. Many looking somewhat miscast like British stalwarts Jack Hawkins as the Pharoah and his unwilling captive, "Vashtar" (James Robertson Justice), the architect bartering for his life on the back of building the Pyramid. Nevertheless an astounding spectacle.
