WEEKEND IN ZUYDCOOTE (1964)

June 1940: Overwhelmed by panzers, the Franco-British troops mass on the beach at Zudycoote awaiting embarkation for England. Sergeant Julien Maillat finds a place on a freighter, but the Luftwaffe sinks him. Maillat returns to Jeanne, a friend who lives in a nearby villa, in time to kill a couple of vagrants who want to rape her. The two dream of escaping together...
