It tells the story of Alfredo Salazar, a man torn between his long-time fiancée Esperanza and a woman he meets named Julia Salas, whom he grows to love. Despite his feelings, Alfredo chooses to marry Esperanza. Years later, when he meets Julia again, he realizes that the love he once felt for her has faded—just like dead stars that shine in the sky but are already gone. The film explores themes of unfulfilled love, regret, and the difference between illusion and reality in relationships.
