Ping Pong: The Triumph is based on the TRUE STORY of the Chinese men's ping pong team. In the early 1990s the team's performances and spirit are very low. Dai Minjia (邓超 Chao Deng) is appointed as chief coach. He promises he'll turn the team around within a couple of years to win the Swaythling Cup in Gothenburg.
