It's August of 1945 and America is at war.
Colonel Paul Tibbets
(Patrick Duffy of "Dallas") is
assigned a mission greater than D-Day.
Climbing fast in the ranks of the Air Force, Tibbets
accepts the mission, ignoring the fact that his obsessive command is straining his marriage, friendships, and morals.
Tibbets' hand-picks a rag-tag
group of ex-cons, fugitives,
hustlers and friends to be his crew.

men in their respective fields,

Gregory Harrison co-stars
as Tibbets' friend, Ralph Lewis,
the pilot who will fly the B-29
