TV anime ``Maou Gakuin no Misfit II'' PV 2nd | Broadcast starts from 24:30 on January 7, 2023

The production team for The Misfit of Demon King Academy IIhas announced that the anime series will premiere on January 7, 2023. A new PV trailer of the anime has also been released, which will run for two split cour seasons.   The opening theme for the second season is “SEIEN” by Japanese pop band Lenny code fiction while the ending theme is “Esoa” by singer-songwriter Momosumomosu.  The production for The Misfit of Demon King Academy IIincludes Shin Oonuma as chief director, Masafumi Tamura as director, Kazuyuki Yamayoshi as character designer, Hitoshi Tanaka as series composer, and Keiji Iuchi as music composer.SILVER LINK is handling the animation production for the series.  The main voice cast features Yuuichirou Umehara as Anos Voldigold, Tomori Kusunoki as Misha Necron, and Yuuko Natsuyoshi as Sash Necron.  The first season of The Misfit of Demon King Academy aired in 2020 and ran for 13 episodes. It was licensed by Aniplex of America and streamed on Crunchyroll as it aired in Japan.  The series is based on the light novels written by Shuu and illustrated by Yoshinori Shizuma, which were first published on March 10, 2018. The series is published under Kadokawa’s Dengeki Bunko label. 12 volumes of the series have been released as of August 2022.
