Introduction / Plot Summary: Z-O-M-B-I-E-S is a Disney Channel Original Movie set in the fictional town of Seabrook, a place known for its traditions and love of uniformity. Decades ago, a freak accident at a power plant caused half the town’s population to turn into zombies. The government quickly walled off the zombie community to keep them away from humans. Fast forward to the present: thanks to new technology (Z-Bands), zombies no longer crave brains and can safely integrate into society. The story follows Zed, a zombie who dreams of playing football, and Addison, a human cheerleader with a secret. When zombies are finally allowed to attend Seabrook High, the unlikely friendship—and eventual romance—between Zed and Addison challenges the prejudices between their two worlds. The movie blends high-energy musical numbers, dance routines, and a strong message about acceptance, individuality, and breaking down barriers.
