Hakuoki: Wild Dance of Kyoto (also known as Hakuoki: Kyoto Ranbu or Hakuoki: Demon of the Fleeting Blossom) is a 2013 Japanese animated film that combines historical adventure and romance. It is the first part of a two-part series that retells the first two seasons of the Hakuoki otome game series by Otomate. The film is about a young woman who disguises herself as a man and becomes involved in a war between the Shinsengumi and the Rasetsu in ancient Kyoto. The film was directed by Osamu Yamasaki and written by Yamasaki and Tsunekiyo Fujisawa, and stars Kenjiro Tsuda, Shinichiro Miki, and Houko Kuwashima. It has a running time of 1 hour and 36 minutes
