The Country of Mayana beckons Doraemon and his buddies to journey through time via a portal into the jungle, in hopes of discovering its long-lost civilization. In the process, Nobita encounters Prince Thio, his doppelganger and rightful heir. To ward off the danger posed by the wicked Ledina and her army, the duo resolves to exchange roles and protect the Country of Mayana.
