V/O: Doctors and dentists require registration, while the clinics where they practise require a licence. Under the Private Healthcare Facilities Ordinance, private healthcare facilities must apply for a licence. Licences for hospitals and day procedure centres are in effect. Clinics may apply for a licence from October 13, 2025, while premises meeting the conditions of a small practice clinic may apply for an exemption starting from the same day.
