Tested and Trusted Ruqyah to Return Black Magic Back To the Sender | Al Quran Rukiyah Shariyah How Does Ruqyah Shariyah Work in Islam? Ruqyah Shariyah is the practice of reciting verses from the Quran, the names and attributes of Allah, and authentic supplications from the Sunnah to seek healing, protection, and help from Allah. According to Islamic belief, Ruqyah itself does not possess any magical power. Its effectiveness depends entirely on the will and power of Allah. A Muslim performing Ruqyah believes that Allah is the true source of healing. How Is Ruqyah Performed? Ruqyah commonly includes: • Reciting verses from the Quran, especially: o Surah Al-Fatihah o Ayat al-Kursi o Surah Al-Ikhlas o Surah Al-Falaq o Surah An-Nas • Reciting authentic supplications (duas) taught by Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. • Lightly blowing over oneself or the affected person after recitation. • Sometimes reciting over water or olive oil and then using them. Purposes of Ruqyah: Ruqyah is performed to seek Allah's help for: • Physical illnesses. • Emotional distress, anxiety, or psychological difficulties. • Protection from the evil eye (envy). • Concerns about spiritual harm, such as jinn-related problems or sorcery. What Makes Ruqyah Permissible? Islamic scholars generally mention three conditions for a valid Ruqyah: 1. It must not contain any form of shirk (associating partners with Allah). 2. It should consist of Quranic verses, authentic supplications, or understandable and permissible words. 3. One must believe that healing comes only from Allah, not from the words themselves.
