If it’s a new song inspired by a movie or anime, feel free to drop a link for me. ;))) The original full titles of this piece were "Hát mãi khúc quân hành trong kỷ nguyên vươn mình” and "Hát mãi khúc quân hành bản cải tiến” Those were the two titles I came up with at first, but they sounded pretty bad, so I changed them to the current title. The reason I made this song is actually quite simple: the original version didn’t sound very good. According to my own personal scale, I’d rate it around 5 out of 9. I have to admit that it does work in evoking a sense of national pride, but that alone isn’t enough. Besides, the lyrics in the original version are very short and basically only function as a chorus. The overall structure feels quite simplistic. If it were used in the past, it might have been acceptable, but in the present time, it’s harder to say. For me, the best way to show respect to those who came before us is to develop and expand what already exists from the past in a better and more creative way, while simply preserving the original spirit. That’s just how I see it — the rest is up to everyone else. Warning: I don’t mean any disrespect toward the Party, nor am I some kind of anti-government element. I’m saying this in advance to avoid misunderstandings. I simply felt that the original song wasn’t very good, so I tried to revise and expand it myself to make it sound better. Other than that, I have no other intention.
