Far From Men

Set against the breathtaking, desolate peaks of the Atlas Mountains during the 1954 Algerian War of Independence, Far from Men (2014) is a gritty "existential western" based on an Albert Camus short story. Viggo Mortensen stars as Daru, a reclusive schoolteacher of Spanish descent who seeks only to educate children in peace.
