Summary
Lan Xin, a mermaid, sacrifices her tail to marry her savior, Huo Sinian, only to suffer betrayal and cruelty at his hands. After nearly dying and being saved by her mother’s ultimate sacrifice, she returns as a powerful chairwoman to reclaim her daughter and exact revenge. Lan Xin eventually finds peace with a loyal childhood friend, while her ex-husband faces the consequences of his actions.
