Kusuo Saiki's psychic abilities aren't the dream come true that one might expect them to be. Despite his extensive range of supernatural talents, such as telepathy and x-ray vision, they have become more of a burden than a blessing. The constant troubles that his abilities cause have left Kusuo wishing for an uncomplicated existence where he can be blissfully unaware. However, living a simple life is impossible for a psychic. Even though Kusuo keeps his powers hidden from his peers, he unwittingly attracts the attention of a group of quirky individuals, including scatterbrained Riki Nendou and delusional Shun Kaidou. The noise surrounding him has given Kusuo a newfound appreciation for the challenge of obtaining the ordinary life that he desires.
