I learned this the hard way while making an origami castle, witch hat, and bat using art paper. Some folds were extremely difficult to make, and even the bat’s wings had trouble moving properly because the paper was too thick and rigid. **My advice:** Always choose thin, flexible paper for origami, especially for models that require multiple layers, intricate folds, or movable parts. It makes folding easier and helps your models work as intended! Here, I was trying to use art paper, but it was really difficult to make some of the folds. So, always try to use proper origami paper whenever possible. Newspaper is good for practising origami, but its corners can become very thin and fragile, so they may tear during the final folds. I also use newspaper for practice, but for the final model, I prefer origami paper because it is more suitable for folding and helps achieve a neat, clean finish. 😊
