100 Days of Deception | Official Trailer | Netflix. [ENG SUB] 100 Days of Deception is a South Korean historical romance drama with espionage, secret identities, political intrigue, and a slow-burn love story. Its Korean title is 100일의 거짓말, which translates literally to 100 Days of Lies. The drama is especially interesting if you enjoy romances where the main characters have secrets, struggle with divided loyalties, and fall for someone they may not be able to trust. The main character, Lee Ga-gyeong, played by Kim You-jung, is a talented pickpocket who dreams of leaving Korea and starting a new life in America. Her opportunity comes when she accepts a dangerous 100-day undercover mission for a Korean independence organization. She disguises herself as an interpreter trainee and infiltrates the Japanese colonial government to gather information. That's when she meets Kim Tae-woong, played by Park Jin-young, also known as Sato Hideo. He's an intelligent, multilingual interpreter and the adopted son of a powerful government official. The problem? Both characters have complicated backgrounds, hidden motives, and secrets of their own. As Ga-gyeong and Tae-woong grow closer, their feelings begin to conflict with their responsibilities. What starts as a mission built on deception becomes something much more personal.
