Unlike earlier adaptations, the 2026 series takes a significant turn in its finale. Carrie survives the events of prom night and leaves Chamberlain with her friend Emaline. The series also introduces additional characters with supernatural abilities, suggesting that Carrie's story may extend beyond the original novel's ending.
