Daadi | Chapter One | Trailer | A Fan Made Tribute Film | Celebrating 8 Years of Tumbbad

Driven by greed, Vinayak returns to Tumbbad hoping his Daadi will finally reveal the location of the hidden treasure. But during the time he spends with her, she tells him something more — her own story, and how the curse truly began. This is our re-imagination of that story. Film Premieres 12.10.2026 Watch on YouTube. 8 years ago, on 12th October 2018, Tumbbad was released. A film and a world we have gone back to again and again — to watch, learn, wonder and be inspired by. And there was always one character who stayed with us…Daadi. On 12th October 2026, exactly 8 years after Tumbbad first reached audiences, Daadi returns to narrate her story. As my Daadi used to say in Marathi, “लहान तोंडी मोठा घास…” ❤️ Here is our tribute. Our little 8th anniversary gift to Tumbbad and the incredible people who created it. Immense love and respect to Sohum Sir and the entire team of Tumbbad for creating a film and a world that continues to make us watch, learn, imagine and create. From the admirers, learners and die-hard fans of Tumbbad. ❤️ CREDITS Produced by Media Offline Inc.
