A world vanished.
A mysterious figure escaped through a portal as an entire civilization disappeared behind him.
Now Nym is being hunted by the Consortium, carrying an ancient object he doesn't understand and memories he cannot recover.
What begins as a desperate escape through the alien city of Avarra leads Nym to Tev, Mokk, the Tower of Maps, and a secret someone worked very hard to erase.
But the Heart of Orr remembers something Nym does not.
And before this journey is over, Nym will discover that the greatest mystery may not be where Orr disappeared...
but what he had to do with it.
