Episode 7: "Threshold" - 문지방 Hak-su has been warned by his wife about a protective talisman hanging above their bedroom door. The talisman is meant to protect the household from supernatural forces. One night, however, Hak-su decides to test whether the talisman really has any power. This seemingly simple decision becomes extremely dangerous. The episode revolves around the traditional belief that doorways and thresholds can represent boundaries between the human world and the supernatural world. By interfering with the protection above the doorway, Hak-su exposes himself to something that should have remained outside. The story's horror comes from breaking a simple supernatural rule: some warnings are better left untested.
