Beta, also known as Natsume Kafka, deeply respects Cid Kagenou as her master; that is why Beta strives to serve Cid Kagenou even when he doesn’t ask her to. This is in contrast to Alexia, who was born into a royal family. Because Cid Kagenou is obsessed with coins, Alexia often treats him like her pet dog.
Since the maid café runs exactly as Alexia wishes, she sets her ego aside in front of Beta and acknowledges that Beta has taught her how to be a maid who is loved by many—not just a maid who serves a noble princess
