I Arrived in Djerba and It Wasn´t What I Expected| Exploring the Island

I arrived in Djerba, and it turned out to be nothing like what I—or anyone else—expected. I visited the island of Djerba, in Tunisia, with my family for a week to discover different cultures, the local cuisine, and the customs of the people there. We stayed at the Sentido Djerba Beach hotel, where we received a warm welcome; the facilities were excellent. This video isn't a travel guide. Beyond the island's paradise-like beaches, we had the chance to explore Djerba more deeply: wandering the streets of Erriadh—famous for its graffiti—and visiting the Guellala pottery workshops to see how the region's signature pieces are made. We also visited the Sidi Yati Mosque (the island's holiest site) and the El Ghriba Synagogue, and we explored one of the largest markets, Houmt Souk, where you can find a bit of everything for sale.
