A Nirbhaya-like brutality has shocked the national capital once again. A minor girl traveling in a moving bus from Greater Noida to Kashmiri Gate was gang-raped by the driver and the conductor. Kashmiri Gate police have arrested the bus driver, Kuldeep, and the conductor, Sandeep, in connection with the incident. The victim is an 11th-standard student hailing from Mainpuri, Uttar Pradesh.
The shocking incident occurred on the night of August 4. The girl, who had left home following a dispute with her family, was heading to a relative's house in Noida. Having lost her way in the heavy rain and darkness, she got off at Pari Chowk in Greater Noida and flagged down an empty sleeper bus passing by. Assuring her that they would drop her off at Noida Sector 63, the duo boarded the girl onto the bus.
