Bella in the Wych Elm | Britain's Unsolved Mystery

In April 1943, four boys exploring Hagley Wood in England made a discovery inside the hollow trunk of an ancient wych elm tree—a human skull. The victim was never officially identified. She became known only as Bella, after mysterious graffiti began appearing across Birmingham asking: "Who put Bella down the Wych Elm?" Who was Bella? Who placed her body inside the tree? Who wrote the graffiti? More than 80 years later, this remains one of Britain's unsolved mysteries. In this true crime documentary, we examine the complete case—from the discovery and police investigation to the strange graffiti, the leading theories, and the unanswered questions that continue to fascinate historians and true crime enthusiasts around the world. Watch until the end and share your theory in the comments. What do YOU think happened to Bella?
