0 Lượt xem3 ngày trước

Millions of sardines gather in the waters of Bahía Magdalena, Baja California Sur, Mexico — attracting some of the ocean’s most spectacular predators. Striped marlin attack from below, California sea lions charge into the bait ball, and dorado join the hunt as thousands of fish try to escape. This is the sardine run of Baja California Sur: a fast-moving underwater battle that brings together predators from different parts of the marine ecosystem. In this documentary, I take you into the action and show what happens when an enormous school of sardines becomes the center of one of the most intense feeding events in the Pacific Ocean. Filmed in Bahía Magdalena, Mexico, after more than 16 years exploring the waters of Baja California Sur.
