Original Composition for Saxophone, Piano & Percussion (Score · Sheet music)

Serpents of the Red Roof Valley - My new composition for an unusual trio! Sheet music available here: https://edwards-music.com/shop/page/?view=serpents-sheet While composing the piece, I had the image of a small town with cottages built with red tiled roofs in my mind’s eye. There was a viaduct bridge cutting through the town, on which steam trains traveled, but everything was inhabited and run by some kind of serpents. The piece is an exploration of the many odd scenes I imagined involving those snake-like creatures. Recording of the world premiere on March 30. 2025 Saxophone: Luis Plunien Piano: Gertrud Edwards Percussion: Markus Schuster · · · · · · · · · · · · · · · · · · · · · · · · · · Find out more about my work • https://edwards-music.com Purchase CDs, audio files and sheet music • https://shop.edwards-music.com Other releases • https://releases.edwards-music.com ©℗ 2025 – D.
