The core of the Xudum lion pride has moved south, but a group of its young, opportunistic females has remained in the north. The crew is excited to find one of these lionesses has cubs, but as a first-time mum, she has a lot to learn. Cheetah mum Pobe experiences tragedy when a leopard attacks, but hope returns when her three-year-old daughter Neelo is found, and she’s thriving. Lediba the leopard shows us there is more to her than meets the eye, but she’s under increasing pressure to catch large prey.
