Basic Housing Unit Regulatory Regime is now in operation

MVO: The Basic Housing Unit Regulatory Regime has taken effect. Residential subdivided units must meet eight minimum standards to ensure safe, hygienic and reasonable conditions and obtain recognition for legal letting. Pre-existing units registered by February twenty-eight, twenty twenty seven will enjoy a thirty-six-month grace period for renovations.
