Sunday Without God is a Japanese anime series set in a world where God has abandoned humanity, resulting in the inability for anyone to die and for new life to be born. The story follows Ai, a 12-year-old "gravekeeper" who is tasked with the solemn duty of burying the dead to allow them final rest. Her quiet life is disrupted when an immortal man, Hampnie Hambart, massacres her village, forcing her to travel with him and uncover the truth behind their desolate world.
