The third upgrading of the Mandatory Energy Efficiency Labelling Scheme (MEELS)

MVO:From September 30, 2025, washing machines, refrigerators, and storage type electric water heaters must adopt a set of higher energy efficiency grading standards, and bear new labels with reference numbers starting with “U3” for supply in Hong Kong. Use “Energy Saver” in the mobile app “E&M Connect” from the Electrical and Mechanical Services Department for product comparison. Practise a low-carbon lifestyle with Grade 1 energy labels!
