Smart Smacker is an arcade redemption machine by Andamiro. It was released in 2012. Perhaps their last hammer titles (Andamiro Hammer and Hammer II) were successful enough for them to make a new one. It’s designed as a whacky quiz-game for children, where players use little hammers to “smack” the screen in response to quiz questions. It is set up either as a single-player or two-player version. As English versions of this exist, I guess the language was just left on Korean and never changed! Features & Gameplay Controller / Interface: Players use small mallets/hammers to hit/press the screen to select answers. Quiz Style: The questions are simple, often matching colours or shapes, etc. So it’s aimed at younger players, from around 5 years and up. Ticket Redemption: It’s a redemption game — players can win tickets based on performance. Physical Size: The machine is fairly large.
